The defender of the Albanian national team , Berat Gjimshiti made his debut with Atalanta , in the tough transfer against Napoli , for the 36th week of the Italian championship.

These were the first 90 minutes of play in the Italian championship for the footballer of the national team. He was transferred in January after his experience in FC Zurich , in Switzerland. On the other camp, Gjimshiti faced his teammate of the national team , Elseid Hysaj , who played his usual 90 minutes for Napoli. The match ended with the win of Napoli 2-1 , and Gjimshiti received a yellow card.
